Clew, I'm not an expert and am not totally positive of anything regarding Morgellons but over 6 years I may have learned a thing or two. I am not sure what the thing is in the middle of the fiber bundle but something else I believe I've found in the mix is something called a planarian. It looks similar to the photo above your "black hair worm" photo. These are interesting creatures that are also heavily used in genetic engineering. The planarian can regenerate itself depending on where it is damaged. If you cut off it's head, it will grow a new one. If you cut off it's tail it will grow a new one. If you cut it in half lengthwise, it becomes 2 planarian. This thing can also grow 2 heads or some other configurations. These are being manipulated because of this regeneration ability. These are a favored organism in the study of tissue engineering. So imagine, you have polytene chromosomes accelerating the growth cycle as well as possibly secreting a glue substance from flies (biofilm?) that protects it and then add regeneration to the mix and basically, how do you kill this thing? Then I believe there is nanotechnology in the mix too.
