Re: Exhausted after 1 week of ending a 2 day dry fast
well it all depends on how much water you drink, if you did a
Water Fast where you didnt drink anything for the first 3days 17hrs then had a few sips that allowed you to prolong the fast for another 2 days before you had to have a few more sips then I would say that is a dry fast where you have a will of steel and are able to prolong it with a tiny amount of water. I say 3days 17hrs as that is the point I was at the other day where the fast became uncomfortable, I was too agitated to watch another film or lie on my bed and listen to the radio, I knew things would get worse and I was now in the danger zone where if I continued then I risked doing myself harm. I had one sip of water and felt immediately better so perhaps if I wanted I might have been able to prolong it by having a couple more sips which would have held off the dehydration for another day, it is only a theory, I have never done that.
That is where the power of dry fasting comes, my immune system was healing at a depth in that last hour which I guess is about as deep as the human immune system can get and is probably thousands of times more powerful than when you just have an 8 hour sleep.
Compared to a
Water Fast where you are drinking say half a pint of water every day from the first day then it is between 3 and infinite times more powerful. I say infinite as you can heal things dry that you cant heal with water fasting, like damaged kidneys, so even if you water fasted for a million years your kidney would still not heal, but it might heal on a 3 day dry fast, I know, I've done it, I am confident that I have reversed 40 years of kidney degeneration (read my other posts).
Dont get too caught up with these rumours you hear about dry being 3x better than water fasting, etc. Dry fasting produces results that are nothing short of a miracle, just get on and do it and you will find out for yourself how much more of a miracle it is compared to water fasting.
How old are you if you dont mind me asking? Getting exhausted going up 2 flights of stairs would mean you are either unfit or unwell ? From a biological point of view exercise is just good for you, it makes you fitter, you loose all of your fitness while dry fasting so you have to excersie hard again afterwards to regain it, it will come back quite quickly but will probably take 4 weeks for an athlete to get back to their previous level(maybe)
