Re: What's good for what.
I will keep my thumps up for you fasting mission illys / elisah, i partly wish i could start
juice fasting myself, but the latest 2 week juice fasting i did end up stomach pains so had to stop ( too much copper and no zink i gues).I do believe the reboot theory about fasting, as long it is long enough.
But for you notice, few issues that are bothering me about fasting:
1. The possible risk of actually help candida by going in to ketones mode.
"going very low carb or ketogenic will only provide more fuel for the overgrowth. Furthermore, since ketones are water-soluble and pass easily through cellular membranes, ketones will actually be a more accessible food source for candida. Don’t go high-carb, since any extra glucose will just be food for the yeast, but don’t go ketogenic, either. Stick to around 100-150 grams of carbs while still limiting sugar. Although other sources do recommend going as low-carb as possible, my money’s on Paul."

2.We are not living now in the bible times, meaning way too much heavy metals & other man made toxins that greatly compete with the same mineral reseptors in the body as the good minerals. This was a non issue in Bible times, but now has big effect. If have mineral defyencys ,like most of us have plus heavy metals and go for long water fast with no dayly mineral intake, it "might" be too much for the body. I am not saying it cant be done, but simply that we have to take take into account the modern time heavy metals situation also.It depends of the mineral status of individual.
and btw , dont candida give body "reward" when it is happy ? Meaning when you give what it needs you may feel much better than when you cut the suply it needs ? I am afraid that ketones are something that keeps candida actually happy. But these were only theorys, not final truths.
