Re: Particle size does matter

Independent laboratory testing has confirmed that both Utopia-Silver and Mesosilver have particles which range down to 0.65 nanometers and below.

Now, we can hypothesize all we want about what homemade silver should be able to do versus the best commercial products. In the real world, people who have made their own (including myself) have found that Advanced Colloidal Silver outperforms homemade silver.

One person reported here a couple of years back about how he tested Advanced Colloidal Silver , a competitor's mostly ionic silver and homemade silver on bread slices. In only a couple of days the bread sprayed with homemade silver and competitor's silver had developed mold. The bread slice sprayed with Advanced Colloidal Silver was still mold free two weeks later.

One of the members of my Yahoo group had been making homemade silver with a SilverGen. She bought a newer Silver Bullet generator from Utopia-Silver (a no-frills, higher voltage unit). And she also always kept some of the premium Advanced Colloidal Silver on hand. She reported that the silver made with the Silver Bullet performed better than the silver solution made with the SilverGen, but neither of them performed as well as the Advanced Colloidal Silver.

Mesosilver invested about half a million dollars in developing their equipment and Utopia-Silver invested hundreds of thousands. Just one of the two filters they use for their ultra-pure water costs more than most home silver generators (and they replace the filters multiple times each year).

Why would either company go to all that expense to produce silver with underwater, reversing polarity plasma beams when they could just use a simple electrolysis system that costs only hundreds of dollars? Note that their process is NOT HVAC electrolysis. What they do almost literally atomizes the silver into particles that are impossible to achieve with a home generator setup (unless you want to buy a home version of what they use for about $50,000).

Perhaps it is because the owner of Mesosilver, a PhD who worked for NASA, and the owner of Utopia Silver, who had decades of work with high voltage electricity, knew what it took to produce truly superior, ultra-small particle silver which got superior results than did any electrolysis mostly ionic silver solution.

For two years I worked in an office above the production equipment for Utopia Silver. It was amazing to watch the process - like something out of Star Wars. I also saw a very great many unsolicited testimonials from people who had used other brands as well as people who had made their own.

I have no problem with you posting what you hypothesize and I appreciate all the good info you have provided in this forum. However, I post what I have actually observed and, based on my own research, my own experience and the words of other real life users, I have to vote with Mesosilver and Advanced Colloidal Silver.

I keep a couple of gallons of Advanced Colloidal Silver on hand at all times. Granted, I get a great discount because the owner of the company is a lifelong friend and supporter of mine - but not nearly so much of a discount that it would not be far cheaper to make my own - which is what I would do if it performed as well as the premium commercial product. It doesn't.
