MC, Weightloss and the plan for after the MC.
It is true that you can do a lot of things including an
Master-Cleanse and lose weight. It is also true that if you go back to your normal way of eating after whatever it is that you have done you will gain back your weight and possibly more.
With that said here is my experience and plan;
I did my initial 10 day
Master-Cleanse and lost 15 lbs before that
Master-Cleanse I was exercising about an hour a day, eating right and continued to exercise between an hour and a half a day during the 10 day MC. I then came off ate healthy exercised daily for 2 weeks and now I am back on another MC (currently on day 9). I have now lost a total of 35 lbs as of yesterday.
Some background; I am female, 32, 5ft 10in and weigh 325 lbs (as of today) I have a ways to go. But utilizing this cleanse, eating right and exercising it is the easiest it has ever been for me. Because of the cleanse I feel so much better, more motivated, more in control - everything.
I am creating new healthy habits for myself during my MC's; such as exercising and educating. With this and following up with regular MC's to help my body help me, exercising daily and eating right when I am eating....followed will lead to success.
As far as fast's slowing down your metabolism...when not on my fast I do 8 minute morning routine (out of Oprah's magazine) that speeds up your metabolism. 70% of what I am eating is raw foods such as vegetable’s etc. The remaining is healthy and in healthy portions.
But if you are overweight and you eat without being hungry, if you are an emotional eater etc. You may also want to look into the possibility of being a compulsive overeater (which I am) and look to an organization such as OA (Overeaters Anonymous) for the support and guidelines they provide. I read their material knowing it is good for me.
If you are not an overeater and just have some weight to shed…going back to old ways of eating (prior to the MC) and regaining the weight still applies to you. You have to be MORE careful than ever.
Hope this helps, good luck to everyone.
