I read a lot, so I knew what to expect.

MY GI doctor turned white, sat down, and said I needed to go elsewhere.

I forced him to order strongyl, filare tests.
both were negative.

I knew i had round worms, I just did not get it.
Round means round, short list of meds.
I read thousands of studies that say it is incurable.

Nonsense.

Ignorance abounds.

So I took stock in what I knew, and ran one more test, Ascaris, it was positive.

Now I know this is meaningless, because i know what the test says.

But it forced me to grab big guns and shoot at round worms.

There are a few left, almost all gone, 7 years of my life to solve a mystery, 1 year knowing I had parasites, and 3 months on treating ascaris. My case went untreated till I almost died. I had hundreds or a thousand. Lungs full of fluid, swelling of the brain, falling to the floor, blood and black ooze coming out every pore, not pretty.

And no help from any doctor. Shame, Shame, Shame.

The body can take a licking and keep on ticking. Keep Faith.

Yes I have my life back.
Yes I have a lot of memory loss.
Yes I know I will move on and rejoin my life again.

I know it is difficult but the problem is solvable.

Dr Clark said it best, if you want to win you need to attack a parasite at several stages to completely eliminate the parasite from the body, or it will spring back.

There is a lot to know, but once you have identified the critter blast away.
