This is my suggestion for your weight loss goal. If you can do dry fasting to start with and do a few days of that and then go on water only fast. Nothing other than water as per thirst should be taken, no teas, no supplments. Also walking is ok but not strenuous walking. After you feel you can go on for ever on your fast try dry fasting intermittently which is going to give you more weight loss than water fasting. If you do thirty one days of fast you are going to lose 30 to 40 lbs.
After that I would continue till true hunger returns. Then you can break your fast with MC.
Yes, I agree with other posters leave the spices for another month or so, it does not help you lose additional weight. If you do not get to your ideal weight then do not give up. Refeed for 30 days and do another fast with water only.
Feed your body with nature made foods and you will maintain and continue losing weight.
