Nope, as said before, you don't let your lips get to a point of crusting. With constant moisture and getting them wet in the shower, etc.

I've seen it... that's what I already said, you don't let your lips get a big build up. After showering you'll see some white loose buildup that is easy to rub off, and does not damage your lips.

She didn't even have EC, do your lips actually look like hers did in the before pictures? Daniel Millers didn't, and neither did mine.
