Re: Lugol's anxiety, paranoia?

You might want to look into copper toxicity, this is a good site: coppertoxic dot com.

I'm currently researching this myself because I check a lot of the boxes and so does my mother (and both my sisters). Copper toxicity is passed from mothers to children. I also check a couple of boxes on causes for copper toxicity.

If one is copper toxic not only is zinc missing, but also B6 (and some others to a lesser degree). I'm on 100 mg p5p and 200 mg pyridoxine chloride at the moment (two forms of B6) before 13:00, pared with zinc in the late afternoon/evening. So far it's been hard because taking B6 and zinc also releases the copper from its hiding places and makes the anxiety worse. I've built the B6 up slowly and take the zinc as lozenges (23 mg each) spread out.

I've been at it only two weeks mind, but the reactions I'm having to the B6 and zinc speaks volumes IMHO. During these last two days I'm becoming calmer, so hopefully my body is getting used to having enough B6 going 'round.

B6 deficiency gives you anxiety and Depression too.

Copper toxicity makes you feel jittery with anxiety and feelings of resentment. But the copper can also be securely locked away in your tissues, leaving you both copper toxic as well as copper deficient (craving copper rich foods). Copper deficiency leads to a sluggish thyroid, fatigue, etc.

If you want some more sites, I've been collecting my research, so I can send you if you want to.

Good luck!
