Re: Lugol's anxiety, paranoia?

A lot of people report Lugol's as being a bit sawtoothed in effect, I had pretty much the same reactions, emotional upset and weird disconnectedness for 4-12 hours depending upon the strength of the dose.

Has gotten a lot better since taping some good magnets to the dropper bottle like done for SSKI (Super-saturated potassium-iodide) formulas.

painting the Lugol's on the thick skin of toes can really gentle out the harsher effects until you're ready to try magnets, it allows the potassium Iodide to pass into the bloodstream slower so it doesn't hit and stress the thyroid quite so fast.


Magnets help smooth over the effects of the Lugol's a lot- I think in part because it changes the charge of the iodine/potassium Iodide particles inside the magnetic field.

If ye think about it, kelp beds grow in magnetic fields. Wouldn't the body prefer the same from supplemental iodine/iodides? Tweet
