DAY 10 of
Elimination Diet with increased Probiotics
Today I start Berberine-500 - two, twice a day
and Fermented Cod Liver Oil with Butter Oil - twice a day
Having done some more research into what might be causing my upset stomach/acne/sebhorreic dermatitis I have a feeling I have some kind of SIBO/Yeast overgrowth. That would easily be explained by my diet over the past 22 years and by my years of heavy
Antibiotic use. I'm confident that Berberine use is going to make some positive changes.
Currently my
Elimination Diet has shifted a bit, to become a bit more manageable. I'm not NOT eating:
Dairy
Wheat (incl. all gluten)
Corn
Refined Sugar
Yeast
Seafood
Peanuts
sulfites ( Wine and Chocolate )
Caffeine (apart from Green tea)
Processed Food
Alcohol
Soy (Apart from fermented Soy/Miso)
I am limiting the amount of
Eggs and Citrus Fruits I consume.
I will now be continuing to eat Nightshades (something that as a Vegetarian I've found v difficult to eliminate, whilst limiting potatoes).
Right now I've had a bit of a breakout of spots and seb derm on my forehead - about 3 spots and a lot, lot of blocked pores - Its been hot and I expect it's from the sweating.
