Starting Elimination Diet


I have had chronic Acne since I was a teenager which I managed to treat with a combination of doxycycline and benzoyl peroxide. After stopping the Antibiotic and the face cream I managed to successfully treat my Acne with a healthy food diet and removing dairy from my diet. However I came to discover that I had Seborrheic Dermatitis on my face, scalp and ears which still gives me blocked pores (and thus acne) in my forehead and around my nose and beard.

Taking advice from the internet I'm starting a programme of eliminating food, increasing probiotics and eating a cleansing diet. As a vegetarian it is harder for me to cut out foods but I will be trying.
The foods I am removing (or have already removed from my diet):

Dairy
Wheat (incl. all gluten)
Corn
Refined Sugar
Yeast
Seafood
Citrus Fruits
Peanuts
Night Shades (Tomatoes, Peppers, Potatoes and Eggplants)
sulfites ( Wine and Chocolate )
Caffeine
Processed Food
Alcohol

Allergen foods I will be continuing to eat but will be keeping an eye on:
Tree Nuts (I regularly consume almonds and cashews)
Soy
Eggs

Alongside this new diet I will be taking the following supplements:
2 forms of probiotics (PB8 and
Zinc
Fermented Cod Liver Oil
Berberine

I will also be consuming food probiotics:
Water Kefir
Saurkraut

I am also treating my seb derm with increased time in the sun, washing morning and night with raw honey and tap water and the occasional raw honey mask plus organic excellence shampoo

My day to day meal plan is:
porridge with raw honey, coconut oil, nut butter and berries

lunch - leafy green salad with eggs or nuts

dinner - cooked vegan meal, gluten free pasta, grilled veg etc

I will posting updates regularly in the form of a diary. Any advice would be appreicated
