Re: Passover: The 7 Feasts of Israel and Jesus
What does that have to do with not following instructions?
No man is worthy of salvation, Christ makes you worthy if you do what He told you.
God certainly does choose men and not us Him, I think the scriptures are pretty clear on that. Of course, God chooses imperfect man or none would be chosen. That is called grace, God choosing you through no effort of your own. But once God chooses you, you have to do what He tells you to do or He can un-choose you just as quickly as He chose you.
Our conversation below is very relevant. The works that Christ has assigned for us to do are to eat His flesh and drink His blood. Some Christians think that it is okay to go by their version of what Christ taught, to follow some of His commandments and not others. I'm not accusing you of that Refreshed, I'm just stating that in general people don't think they have to understand and follow everything that Christ taught, just what they believe to be essential. If we do not eat the flesh and drink the blood of Christ, then for us His sacrifice was in vain and I can't think of anything worse than that.
