Why do you think God went to all this trouble? Why go through the motions of killing His only begotten Son?

Why not just place man on this planet and watch to see which one of them could be worthy to call part of the family of God?

Man can not be chosen by a perfect God, with perfect reasoning and perfect justice, when man is never perfect. Not one was found worthy except Jesus, who is God.

Even the people in the old testament who God called righteous, were not righteous on their own. They believed in God but they were not perfect. They put their faith in God and used blood animal sacrifices to cover their sins.

Some people question why Able's sacrifice was worthy and Cain's was not. It had to do with the blood sacrifice of the animals that Able presented to the Lord...not just what was in each person's heart as some assume. It took the blood and faith.

And just like Cain, people today get angry at feeling like their sacrifice (works) are not worthy to God, when the bible tells them it's about the blood of Jesus and what He did.

We should give glory and honor to the One who can provide the blood that is pure and holy and able to save us from our sins. Stop putting our faith in what we can do...and put it into what He did. That way, any good works we do are done in His glory and honor for they are the fruit of the Spirit of God which is accepted as perfect...where our own works without the blood, are not.

Without the blood...we are only waiting on the Angel of Death and not for eternal life.
