Feelings of peace and love are always good and always from God. These feelings lead us toward God. To some extent, it is true that in the end all feelings and emotions become irrelevant and the love that we feel becomes something more pure and we realize that what we thought was love was just a little tiny piece of the real thing.

If you are letting the love of Christ into your heart you are exactly on the right track and you absolutely will make it. Please don't ever give up hope of that.
