Thanks Refreshed. I had a feeling that you would say something along those lines and I agree that trusting in His promise is huge for those who don't feel His love and have to endure suffering. His promise of salvation and His sacrifice are all a result of His love so it all goes together. There have been times in my life of absolute darkness, when I couldn't feel love in any way, shape or form, from Christ or anyone else and in those times, the hope in Christ was all that I had and for anyone in that situation that is all they can and should do is cling to the hope of the promise of Christ. Of course Christ's love for us is always perfect but we are not aware of it due to various reasons.
