feelings are like the things we call disease. they are there to teach us, to help us overcome what is already an ongoing death process. we are supposed to tend this garden, not torch it or let it go to seed. feelings are a part of the flesh. we are supposed to love our wives as our own flesh. so do you love your flesh or dont you?

it is YOU who has to control the flesh. its yours to do with what you will. it is tricky. it will get its way if it can. what else do you think pauls admonition to put to death the deeds of the flesh was about? oh, kinda sorta do this. ya know, you dont have to and if you look like your doing works or something god might see and take his gift back. or am i misunderstanding you guys on this last point?

i have never ever seen soo much wringing of hands in my life. you pretend to defend the whole bible while operating on maybe 10 verses, if you count the doubles and triples as one.

a year ago, if someone had told me that jesus was the reincarnation (term loosely applied and with qualifications) of adam, i would have laughed. now, thanks to my time on here, i am considering it. strong biblical support for such an thing. explains the genealogies perfectly. i mean why else give them if not vital information? and if it is vital information, why? how?

you reap what you sow. what if you sow sinful nature throughout all eternity for all people? wouldnt you reap have to correct it? pay for it? atone?
