Re: Antibiotic Clindamycin

Sorry for the confusion. Yes, my exfoliative cheilitis went into remission only when I followed the diet.

It took two months for the shedding to stop. I know because I would keep scissors in the bathroom to trim the dead skin off. I don't know when I realized it but one day after steadily following the diet, I went into the bathroom and temporarily didn't even remember what I had the scissors in there for (since I hadn't used them in so long due to my lips no longer crusting over thanks to diet)

then stopped the diet and it came back. So after it came back that's when I'd exfoliate it off.

Then I started the Antibiotic which did stop my lips from shedding but it also seemed to interfere with wound healing. I had a bit of crust on my lips which I removed while on the antibiotic. There was raw skin underneath as usual but the problem this time is that the raw skin never really healed and it was so sensitive that it left fissures in my lips when I'd smile. This is my problem now.
