Re: L theanine, magnesium. low cortisol?

I tend to be hyper adrenal and adrenal herbs that were supposed to be adaptations have always made me hyper. When I got really sick calming supplements were not calming because it takes energy for your body to process supplements so it revs things up to do that task. As I healed I could do more things that took more energy. The calming supplements starting being calming. For myself I was able to do L Theanine with no problem but there were only two supplements I could do at first.
I am not saying this is you at all but progesterone was turning to cortisol in my system and sent me into fight or flight and gave me anxiety. That is what totally messed me up.
if you can't take supplements try the following foods that are packed with amino acids: bone broth, gelatin or whey protein or another type of powdered protein.
