In my opinion, coconut water may be a little too high in potassium. You want to include all electrolytes, sodium, potassium, calcium and magnesium. You don't want the balance to go too much the other way (too much potassium). When the adrenals are fatigued, I believe the kidneys have trouble keeping the electrolytes in the proper balance. I would make a meat or vegetable soup with plenty of vegetables and salt to taste and eat this for a few days. This is very hydrating and can help restore electrolyte balance. Most nuts and seeds are a good source of magnesium.
