So I started back on brazil nuts for selenium. Sure enough I take one brazil nut a day and my hair starts shedding hair like crazy, I kept it up for 3-4 days, and couldnt handle it anymore as I was losing 4-5 times as much hair in the shower, it was all over the bathroom too, so I stopped.

First day after stopping, shedding was down by half, the next day being today barely anything. In the past I would get depressed and really tired taking it (was taking now brand).

Thanks for your advice, but Ive decided I can't take selenium - I exhibit 3 of the major symptoms of selenosis. Tweet
