Sometimes things are more simple than you might think. We don't need to necessarily get caught up in the writings from here or there. In my view the Gospel is good news, and that news can come in many different ways, the main thing is that you have to know it is based on 3 principles that Jesus taught, those are #1 the Way that Jesus lived, #2 The Truth that exists in reality(not in ones own bias perception), and #3 The Life...the omnipotent and omniscient, force and being that is given to the universe by the Creator."I am who I am."

As far as religion goes, Jesus taught us the only WAY religion is pure.

James 1:27
"Pure religion and undefiled before God and the Father is this, To visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and to keep themselves unpolluted from the world."

The thing about being unpolluted by the world, means eating a healthy and clean diet of food that is grown the way that the creator intended. That is NO pharmaceuticals(sorcery) in the production or supplementation. NO pesticides, or anti-biotics(Bio means life) No herbicide(herbs are to be our meat)Gen 1:29. Stay away from toxins(talk-sins) in the water and environment around you, minimize all that exposure. Do that and everything will become more and more clear.
