Re: progesterone gel for the quick fix??? boob pain drives me insane :(

I'm currently using progesterone cream while on 50mg Lugol's each day. I have been using the cream for over two months now and the relief it has given me with lumpy painful breasts and incredible period pain has been immense. While I do worry with supplementing hormones instead of allowing my body to create its own, my hope is that the Iodine treatment will eventually 'correct' my thyroid and after 6 months I will taper off my progesterone usage. The drastic difference in my periods while on progesterone (that did not occur while on iodine+cosupps only) makes me a believer in the estrogen-dominance theory. I am waiting to see what happens when I slowly taper off the progesterone cream (while continuing Lugols 50mg/day +cosupps).
