Re: progesterone gel for the quick fix??? boob pain drives me insane :(
In my experience, there's no such thing as too much
Iodine (I've been on 5 gram of
Iodide for months). To me 12,5 mg sounds like very little iodine. Maybe when you're in excellent health, having detoxed everything, you can get by with 12,5 mg. But as long as you have chronic issues, 100 mg is the minimum I think. Why not take 100 mg as
Lugols and 1 gram as
SSKI (
SSKI is way cheaper)?
When I started
Iodine my breasts were big lumps of fibroids. After starting
Iodine my breasts got better slowly. When I started the high dosage iodine, the pace picked up. Iodine detoxes breasts faster then
Iodide (in
SSKI ) in my experience.
The pace picked up further when I started the fat soluble vitamins (vitamin A, D, K2 and E). I just read Jeff T Bowles on vitamin D and I'm trying high dosage at the moment. First thing that happened was that my ever present sore throat went away.
Vitamin D deficiency is a big contributor to fibrocystic breasts.
Iodine can not always fix you al by itself. Iodine does amazing things for me. I was definitely deficient. But I was also lacking in other stuff.
That said, I do take progesterone cream, because I'm estrogen dominant. If you're progesterone deficient, it is very soothing when you take it. It is calming. But if you're not deficient, it is probably not a good idea to start on it.
The longer you've had your deficiencies, the longer it takes for the body to repair everything. I've been on iodine for three years now and I'm still detoxing my breasts. I measured them a few weeks ago: 1,3 liter each. That was 1,3 liter of chalky fibroids. The chalkiness has mostly gone now, the fibroids are rubbery now.
Whatever I change in my regimen, iodine is always a big part of it.
