Thanks for this entry. I was wondering just how sick I will get if I start slowly...with a drop or so, and your saying it lasts a couple of hours is reassuring. I'm still scared of being totally incapacitated, unable to work, and/or in need of a backup plan to get me to an emergency room.
My other concern is I just can't seem to eat like Dr. Daniels advises. I thought I was doing good by going in the direction of Dr. Fuhrman's dietary recommendations (though that is quite difficult to maintain also). So now-in addition to the terror of killing myself (dumb ways to die type fear), I have to wait to become a perfect non nut/bean/oil eating vegetarian. That could be a long wait. Can someone who is suffering from the long term effects of the Standard American Diet, but has eliminated dairy, gluten, and substantially reduced carbs and animal protein glean any positive effects from the protocol?
