as you provide healing materials to the body then it can and will revisit old wounds and maladies and try to fix them.

imagine one going their whole life harboring all the un-health one encountered along the way. could this be the essence of human mortality? at the least it could be the difference in lifespan being cut short or the quality of life in the last decade or two. it used to be just shingles but now its a whole host of stealth bugs and fungus and such.
