Re: iododerma - iodine induced dermatitis

For a while... it could've been done in 2 weeks or less, but getting a 5 year old to sit and soak for 20 minutes every day can be tricky!
The wart she had was HUGE.. and it had these red, blue and green hairs growing out of it. On her 4th soak, the ugliest top half fell off in the avc and then it took the appearance of a planters wart, which are common in dancers & gymnasts. Those hair things had me freaked.
As it dries up, more falls off or you can file it down with a nail file. The Iodine sped up the process. I'd only apply it after soaking/before bed.
Salicylic acid works faster than acv, but its hard to dissolve without grain alcohol, which is illegal in PA. It dissolves enough in dish soap though and that helps it stick. But if you're patient, the vinegar + Iodine should take it clean off. I'm happy with how the whole thing came off.
I had them on my feet a lot as a kid... then when I got pregnant with my first child, they all turned back and fell off... never had one since.
