Re: Anyone try any of these natural alternatives? Is this from the Joan Larson book?
Hi PCS,
How funny that you have been reading her books too! I got it because I have had terrible brain fog and a hard time concentrating lately. I have a feeling it has something to do with either hypoglycemia,
food allergies , or a lack of nutrients/amino acids. I love the book because she really explains what is going on in the body. She has an entire chapter on fatigue that you might find interesting. I would guess that there is a ton of cross-over between the two books. I don't know if it would be beneficial for you to read the Depression-Free one if you have already read the other, but I guess it couldn't hurt.
As far as the fish oil goes, I think you are supposed to take the enzymes at the same time as the oil. I also think brand is very important. I personally really like Carlson's. They have a lemon-flavored one that almost, just almost, tastes good.
I am thankful that I found this book as it has answered many of my questions and I look forward to doing more research. Blue Stone recommended some books above that I plan on checking in to as well. I sincerely hope that you find some answers for yourself and your daughter. It sounds like you are on the right track.
