In the book that I am reading, the author says that if you belch after taking fish oil, it means that you don't have enough hydrochloric acid or digestive enzymes and your body isn't able to use the oil efficiently. Taking it with digestive enzymes should help.
I also wanted to give you a link to this website because I think it might be helpful in finding a solution for your daughter. I personally have been taking zinc and b-6 the last few days and noticed significant improvement in my inability to focus and overall mood. Check out the signs of pyloria and see if that might apply to your daughter.
