That's exactly when it all started during the fasting. I can't figure out whether the hair loss is from thyroid or a candida issue.
During the fast my head got really itchy I use coconut oil and that took care of it.
After I broke the fast I would notice a musky smell in my hair only after I shampooed it (really weird). This eventually went away.
This is what makes me think maybe Candida but whenever I take higher doses of Iodine the hair loss accelerates.

Thanks for posting I need all the information I can get. I'm not planning on doing another Water Fast anytime soon. Although I have been contemplating a juice fast. I have been drinking a lot of green juice and it seems to help.
