I found this portion on a website. I thought it said a lot.

"Men salt food without tasting it.

People nowadays accept religious beliefs without "tasting" them first. Cults do a good job of changing the "flavor" of the gospel and the doctrine of the Bible. They make things sound good. But people need to stop and "taste their doctrine" before accepting their salt. Their salt is poisonous. "
