Maple syrup a good source of trace minerals

I didn't know all this, Refreshed. Thanks for the mineral lessons. Heck, this isn't the wrong forum. God wants us to take care of His temples. That's why Benny had him on his show. The Bible talks about salt as a good thing. I know it is referring to the real salt and not the stripped kind that is sold in grocery stores that they call salt. That is why I think that we can absorb minerals from real salt. Why else would the Bible say it's good? God gets a lot of mileage out of things, therefore, I don't think He just made it for flavoring foods. I think we need it for our health. What's in it that we need? I believe it's the minerals. According to the information you posted, minerals in salt would not be easily absorbed like the plant origin minerals. I wonder if there is any scientific proof for this. Some experts claim that we cannot absorb minerals in water and that we should drink distilled water only. They really push distilled water on the Water Fasting forum. At least, they used to. I have always questioned this as being the best health choice. The arguments against distilled water are just as powerful as the arguments for it. I believe that we can absorb minerals in salt and water. At what rate I do not know. Why I hold to those beliefs I do not know, but I think the Bible's favorable mention of salt has something to do with it.
