Re: Question about TSH Level, hello VWT.
Interesting that he feels hot/sweating at 3-4 am. As this is the adrenal time. My guess is that he often wakes up at these hours of the night.
Yes the potassium really gives energy. The tiredness a few hours after could be a call for more.
3 times a day would keep it more steady. Also have some salt at hand, as potassium may lower the BP (as it did with me when I took too much; it was a great learning by doing). Salt is needed for the adrenals, the sodium/potassium pump is how the body technically creates its temperature, governed by the thyroid, adrenals and the other endocrine glands.
Potassium chloride (powdered) is an option; this is easy to bring along to work, a teaspoon or so in a water bottle; adjust after taste.

Thyroid symptoms is coldness and or a (too) fluctuating temperature. The anxiety is also very connected to thyroid problems. Also angina of course, as this is a "constricting" disease.
The challenge for him now is to do the things that works, but not too much in one go. Try it for a few weeks, add the
Iodine at some point, like maybe once or twice a week.
