The two KEY points of mixing it into sparkling water are:

- those deeply sodium deficient find taking salt acts on the stomach creating nausea, when you add sparkling or CO2 to that this is greatly diminished. Once you are less deficient this goes away..

- near 0 PPM water like Distilled or RO water to supply enough water, similar to Saline IV

Also using Mineral water leaves you with minerals again that may interfere with the IMAM.

If I had no access to good Soda water I would use Distilled water instead..
