Citric Acid is better, that is one product used in Wine Making and Canning. So if you are in Europe where there is, at least in some places, still a tradition of canning and making Wine the shelves should be full of that right now.
Heck in Canada you can buy pails of grape juice in nearly all large outlets right now and all the needed accessories including Citric Acid..
