Baptism in the Holy Spirit is clearly separate from Water Baptism.
Right, it is only when we have the experience of something that we understand it completely. It seems like Vektek will only believe in doctrine that is very clearly stated in the Bible and requires no interpretation. I can understand this kind of thinking because it leaves no room for error, except what if there is scripture that requires interpretation? In that case taking it word for word would be an error.
The scriptures on the second baptism of the Holy Ghost are a bit lacking. I do believe the scriptures quoted by MST are pretty clear, but I suppose someone could say that that was a special gift given to the apostles.
However Matthew 3:11 is quite clear, in which John the Baptist says:
I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance: but he that cometh after me is mightier than I, whose shoes I am not worthy to bear: he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost, and with fire.
Yes, it is only one scripture, but the meaning is quite clear and requires no interpretation. In these scriptures John the Baptist was giving baptism to all different people that accepted the gospel he was preaching from many different lands. John is speaking in general terms to everyone that they will be baptized and later Christ will give them the second baptism of the Holy Ghost.
