Re: Starting Iodine with Hashimoto's?

Update:
After pulsing Iodine 1~2 times a week my neck pain was reduced, but my TSH is up to 8.5 and my antibodies are up from 230 to 730. T3/T4 normal.

My GP wants me to see the endocrinologist asap, maybe start T4 and get an ultrasound, which I am really dreading because I know he's going to slam me for using iodine.

I know Iodine can cause increased TSH but what about antibodies? That's not related, right? What causes antibodies to go up? I thought selenium should have helped reduce antibodies? Advice?
