I have the same bloating issues......

I had an Ascaris problem a few years ago, got over it and was doing great, best shape of my life. Then one day my anxiety (cortisol) soared and I started gaining and retaining water. I just learned that my ex was taking the triple coctail for an ulcer a couple of weeks before I got sick, so I have no doubt I was infected with it when his was bad and highly contagious.

I suspected H Pylori due to the sudden weight gain and anxiety because it raises cortisol, asked to be tested 2.5 yrs ago when it started, and the blood antibody came back neg. Now I know that some people can get false negatives, and especially if your body isn't fighting it, so I am scheduled for a stool test. I do not feel this is a worm infection, I never see anything and I take heavy loads of herbals and have tried meds.

As soon as I started taking anti HP herbs and oils, my stomach started bloating (bacteria dying), then went down, my throat got sore and I had that original feeling of something stuck in my throat, stools turned black and soft, so that told me all I needed to know.

Still for me, garlic for a week can take off 14 lbs of water weight and bloat. I just have to cycle it cause sometimes I need to go in public.

You may want to consider asking for a breath test or stool for H Pylori. On people who it raises cortisol, they gain and retain water. Plus constipation is also a symptom. Do you have anxiety, not over your belly, but for no reason?
