Herbal cure for bad breath

I bought a bottle of decolorized Iodine when I was 1st experimenting. I had a difficult time with the ammonia vapor. Ammonia is used to decolorize it, and I was also worried about putting that on my skin. Since then, on the occasions I have used it, I've noticed the decolorization does not hold when it comes in contact with lotions and creams. I am very interested in hearing how Grizz's SSKI experiment turns out.
