Thanks ferventer. So the elevated TSH in response to the Iodine is a good sign that my thyroid is responding, correct? My TSH was 4 in early June, I started Iodine in late June and last week my TSH was 6.9.

Does dessicated thyroid cause the same kind of interference with T4 and T3 production as synthroid? While I'm willing to be patient and wait for the iodine/selenium to do it's work, some people seem to have dramatic improvement from Armour and other dessicated thyroid meds. Tweet
