I'm all for a permanent fix, I'm just new to all of this. I'm tempted to abandon the endocrinologist and just do Iodine and maybe an over the counter thyroid extract. I guess I felt like I should be under the care of a physician, but I don't want to be stuck with a treatment that doesn't work and may do more harm than good. Do folks on the Iodine protocol tend to just forego traditional medicine all together and monitor their thyroid function by temperature alone?
