Re: Foamy pee good sign of candida die off? Need Help

Ok I guess you need edumacatin...

You do realize that the human body runs on glucose??

It doesn't matter if you eat fruits, potatoes, animal protein or fat(converted to sugars via gluconeogenesis). Let's leave out ketosis for the time being since very few people are able to pull that off.

Your logic is just incomprehensible to me when you say that blood Sugar feeds candida. Blood Sugar is one of those pesky necessities in life like oxygen and water, without it you will die.

Don't try to twisty my words and then duck and run and say you don't want to argue because you are exactly doing that with intention.

You can even try to starve yourself by fasting but the body will convert muscle and fat into sugars to keep itself alive. Sugars which 'feed candida'.

You still have not responded to my main complaint which was that you stated twice, that alcohol feeds candida. And I said and I'm saying it again that you and your website are just completely wrong on this point. No two ways about it.

Go do the experiment I wrote out and then report back.

The rest of it is just you trying to argue. You have to eat, and most people eat some carbohydrate. So I don't know where you are going with trying to twist my words around.

Everyone realizes that carbohydrate CAN feed candida, but they also feed the human body. That's the trick, getting the right carbs in that your body can process and figuring out your own personal immune system and what fuel it runs best on.

The 'all carbs feed candida and therefore they are bad' theory is not true and is about 40 years old.

As I stated, which you have not addressed, there are quite a few people now who have cured candida eating lots of fructose and lots of starch, to the exclusion of a lot of animal protein and fats.

I'm not one of those people who thinks they have all the answers (ahem). I'm just looking at all the stories of people who have cured problems, and there are a lot of different stories.

It looks like you will just ignore this but to me it is very interesting and indicates (proves?) that the problem is not what you seem to think it is. There is more going on than just the overly simplistic 'carbs make candida worse' nonsense.

If you want to be a good steward of internet testimonials, then present a balanced view, not a biased one.

You probably know this already, but trying to starve candida can make it worse in many people because it retreats into a hyphal form which can damage the intestinal lining. So there is a good argument for eating sufficient carbohydrate. If for no other reason than to not make a bad situation worse.

And as you may know healthy people harbor candida as well, in lesser amounts than people with candidiasis. They are not worried about feeding their candida, partly because they are healthy and partly because candida is a necessary component of healthy flora.

In fact if I was to make a guess I would say that the body, in its infinite wisdom, and in certain circumstances, allows the normally present candida to flourish to accomplish certain tasks that perhaps most people are unaware of.

There is the theory that candida binds certain heavy metals as a protective mechanism. If this turns out to be true then everything you are saying and literally everything in that ridiculous website you quoted is totally irrelevant and possible dangerous.

In my opinion the major mistake people make with candida is not looking at the bigger picture. They get all caught up in little traps like saying all alcohol is bad or fruit is bad or other silly things and try to outsmart the body with faulty logic.

I am not so enamored of psuedo-scientific websites as you are, especially when they make such obvious errors like 'alcohol feeds candida', and I definitely don't like to use websites as ammunition to try to win internet arguments, as if your one in a billion website is the ultimate authority on biochemistry.

Testimonials, bring them on. But present a balanced view. You might even wind up learning something!
