I agree with you. Candida species develop biofilms on biological superficies. There is evidence it develops biofims on the vaginal tissue and oral cavity without prosthesis. Same thing may happen in the intestines. Apo-Lactoferrin and EDTA limit the iron intake pathogens need to survive. There are several enzymes and antifungals that disrupts fungal biofilms. I believe water enemas also help since candida biofilm matrix is mostly glucose. Glucose is soluble in water.
