I've started recently supplementing with ~6 grams KCl spread throughout the day. I haven't noticed much yet really, but all I know is that Americans have the potassium/sodium ratio all whacky.
From what I understand: Preagricultural humans consumed a ratio over 13.6 to 1 each day. A study of modern hunter-gatherers shows they consume a 7.7 to 1 ratio. Modern day people consume more sodium than potassium.
I'll keep creeping up in dose and see what happens.
