Re: How can you calculate how much to eat after the fast?

There just ain't no "formula" cause each person condition requieremnts needs and their lifestyles are different. You're simply gonna hafta take the time and put in the effort to educate yourself and experiment, experiment experiment for what works for >>you<<. Don't try and over think this. Just like there’s no magic pill or diet. There also is no shortcut or formula. Only you know what your goals are and how your everyday life goes. You can't go wrong with starting with a mostly raw diet, juicing veggies and making sure you get your EFAs (essential fatty acids) which you can get by adding Flax Seed oil or a blend like Udo's choice.

Your formula for success will be your "focus" on achieving your goal. Don't worry, if you stay focused you will find what works for you. It'll be a natural process that will take time. Actually it is a lot of fun playing around and discovering all the new flavors and experiences.

My one hard recommendation is if you don't own a juicer then buy one. To get the amount of nutrition that you get form 16 oz of juice you prolly hafta eat 15/20 lbs of vegetables.

I have always looked at the Master-Cleanse from the beginning as the teardown faze. The real benefits are totally dependent on what you do afterwards in the rebuilding. There is just tons of info on the net and on this site, Just start doing searches and reading. Some of the things you might want to investigate are Raw food diets, juicing, Blood Type Diet , Macrobiotics. Check the Ask Shelley forum's FAQs and on and on............

Don't just stop with the Master-Cleanse check out the liver flushes, colon cleanses, parasite cleanses. colonics etc etc.

If you can afford it you might consider doing what Somer did and find a Naturopathic Dr. to guide you on your quest. Just remember that the weight issue is not a thing by itself that it is only the manifestation of many other possible causes. Focus on getting clean and healthy if you really want to succeed with the weight loss part.

I almost forgot one of the most important things EXERCISE!!! ;+D

Good luck and stay focused. You'll be way ahead once you surrender to the reality that any "real" and permanent change is just gonna take time. Your not gonna undo years of abuse and toxins build up and possible damage by just doing one MC. The Master-Cleanse is an awesome start but it is only the first step of an amazing journey.............;+D
