The recommended dose is 9 lbs of sodium percarbonate per 1000 gallons of water, once per day for 4 days (use less if the water level is dropping).
Here's my problem now: my pit contains 1500 cubic feet of water, not gallons as I originally thought --it contains ~11,000 gallons of water! That would be a lot of sodium percarbonate!
If I simply aerate, how fast might that make a difference, days, weeks, months?
Thanks.
