Re: My Five Steps to Success, I cured my Exfoliative Cheilitis of 3 years

In the past, I thought another poster experimented with weed. You could do a search to if it helped others.

Yes, I stopped drinking milk. I have celiac disease. And, a gluten-free diet combined with strong anti-fungal medication healed my lips. The intestines and liver seem like the most important factors. Celiac disease often affects the liver like in my case. Before I found out I had celiac disease, an allergist told me that elevated liver enzymes can cause peeling lips. One of my liver enzymes was high normal range. It should have been lower for my age, but you can call it a sluggish liver.

I think milk or lactic acid could have something to do with a cure since a cure 100 hundred years ago was lactic acid on lips. It might have been applied with an antibacterial ointment, which can kill resistant bacteria easier after lactic acid kills the protective barrier. These bacteria or fungus secrete white film, which may be the white film on lips. I don't know.
