Yes, it took me a year to reach the wanted 98.6.

A slight change in temperature, up and down are to be expected. Some have a very narrow range of temperature change, others (like me) could change as much as one Centigrade in a day.

Hormonal or adrenal issues may also have a say in temperature change.
