Re: Can iodine lower basal body temperature?

It can take a long time (as in 1 or 2 years) for a thyroid damaged by toxins to recover. Worse, the thyroid my not ever recover if you were drinking a lot of liquids with fluoride.

It may help to supplement your Lugols/iodoral with SSKI . This will allegedly help your thyroid to recover.

You may also need to take Dessicated Thyroid Medication until your thyroid recovers. Most folks report that over time while taking iodine, they are able to reduce their thyroid hormone.

Even if you start thyroid medication, you still need Iodine for the rest of your body. Every cell in the human body requires iodine.
