Re: Wired AF debate with C.b.
I never ever condone Paleo for AF. I had my experiences with it, but learned from that mistake. I follow Ray Peat and Matt Stone, who certainly are not paleo or low carb.
Please stop twisting my words, you have no idea what you're talking about. Anyone on this forum will tell you that I am all for carbs. I eat 8
pounds of potatoes a week. What I said was that the body, in a severe state of AF, needs to be gently nurtured back to tolerating normal levels of carbs, especially since most of us are advised from the beginning to go low carb- even zero carb in my case- and have done this long term.
The object is to heal. Whatever gets us there as individuals is what is important.
High carb works for me and a for others, but for some it doesn't. Just like anything else. There's people who go on and on about how tumeric is so wonderful for their liver. Well it gives me anaplylaxis, so I won't be eating it any time soon.
This is probably one of the most pointless arguments I've ever encountered. Everyone agrees on the physiology, but no one wants to accept the fact that there is more than one way to skin a cat. Seriously.
